MCA COLOURING COMPETITION

---

MCA COLOURING COMPETITION — ALL AGES WELCOME!

It’s your turn to design a Mick’s Cranes Australia crane!

Choose one of the three competition sheets attached and print it, or collect a copy from our Katherine or Darwin yard.

Use the crane picture on the front for inspiration, then turn the page over and create your own artwork on the blank back! Show us your colours, patterns and ideas.

MCA is proudly Indigenous-owned, and we’d especially love to see entries from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and families. Everyone is welcome to enter, and entry is free.

Multiple prizes to be won! Prizes include gift vouchers and more for children and runners-up. One selected design may be featured on the next MCA crane, with help from our graphic designer.

Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and use of colour, with ages taken into account.

Entries close: 30 October 2026
Winners announced: 16 November 2026

How to enter: Complete the entry details and declaration on the front, then send clear photos of both sides by Facebook message or email using the contact details on the sheet. You can also drop off your completed sheet at either MCA yard. If you’re under 18, please have a parent or guardian consent and submit your entry.

Your artwork remains yours. Entering does not give MCA permission to use it on a crane. If your design is selected, we’ll arrange separate written permission with you—and your parent or guardian if you’re under 18—before adapting or using it. Any necessary cultural permissions will also be discussed.

Prize winners must collect their prizes in person from our Darwin or Katherine yard.

Give our page a like to follow the competition and see the winners announced!

Please read the terms on the front of your competition sheet. Permission to share your artwork publicly is optional and does not affect judging.

We can’t wait to see what you create!
